We've been following Marina Licht since we were getting married ourselves when she worked on the big national Wedding magazines, and we're super pleased to both introduce you to her blog, if you don't know about it already (why?) Style and the Bride and to say she'll be coming along to the show!

Marina Licht is the founder and Editor of the wedding blog Style & the Bride, which is all about stylish wedding ideas (she's already rocking the applique embroidery lace style even for a press shot!).

Marina is passionate about the world of bridal and first got her love for weddings when she was a junior reporter on OK! magazine. She reported on the wedding of a certain A-list couple, Victoria and David Beckham, and from that moment, became obsessed with the world of bridal. The reason why she launched her website as she believed there was a big gap in the market for a fashionable wedding blog.

Marina had a chat with us and says she can't wait to visit A Most Curious Wedding Fair as she knows her followers are obsessed with anything fashion forward. 'I look forward to A Most Curious Wedding Fair every year as I know I will find some innovative bridal suppliers who are perfect for style savvy couples.'

MEET bridalNEXT 2017!

Established in 2012, bridalNEXT! is an initiative set up by Most Curious to support and promote fresh, fashion-led, new and innovative talent in the bridal industry. Not only launching them into the spotlight, we are also bringing them straight to the creative, stylish and cool loving brides and grooms.

bridalNEXT! will be taking place at the London 2017 show and is open to all wedding businesses launched since the 1 January 2014.

To propel our bridalNEXT!ers firmly into the spotlight, there will be a special Rock ‘n Roll Bride Award, given for possessing big-time innovation and directional qualities, chosen by the candy hair coloured expressive wedding queen herself Kat Willams, founder of the internationally famous and respected Rock ‘n Roll Bride blog and magazine. She will chose a winner and a runner up in each category.

We are dedicated to keeping bridalNEXT! a platform for new graduates and those truly starting out in their creative careers, which means that eligible businesses must not have launched their wedding business before 2015.

And this year we have a whole extra room dedicated to the 28 bridalNEXTERs - wanna meet them?

Hello! I’m Jess, a photographer, artist and wife making London my home. I specialise in artistic, contemporary wedding photography for couples who want their day documenting in a creative way. I love to capture the unique essence of a couple's relationship and through honest, simply composed images, communicate all the emotions felt on the day. For me, the best photography is collaborative, so if you have seen my work and it resonates with you, let’s start a conversation.

I’m Mary. I love animals. Ridiculous amounts. I come from a family of artists, musicians, writers and painters. I’m generally pretty obessed with nature, and I probably get more excited about dogs, forests, flowers and ferns more than anyone ever should. My dog, River, is my soulmate and I would bring her with me everywhere if I could. It has been my dream to travel the world with my camera, my dog, and my boyfriend, shooting many rolls of film and bringing people joy with my images. In June 2016 my partner Chris, River and I moved across the world from Perth, Australia, to England, and I now shoot around the globe, so I guess I’m kinda living that dream!

Peggy & Kate is a stationery design studio, founded in 2014 by Kate Cronk. I specialise in bespoke wedding stationery, illustration and calligraphy. The couples I work with constantly inspire me and I love to tell their stories through illustration! I create completely bespoke invitation suites, as well as having a select offering of customisable designs. The customisable service is very popular as it means that I am able to offer varying degrees of custImisation depending on budget.

Tuppence Collective are a British surface design studio from North London founded by Alicia & Rebecca. They design and hand paint original patterns inspired by beautiful botanicals and apply them across a range of wedding stationery items. Their series of wedding telegrams offer a fresh alternative to invitations and add a cool twist to a classic tradition. They have a variety of designs to choose from but if you’d like something truly special then commission a bespoke pattern for your celebration.

Rose, Paper, Scissors is a creative wedding studio that is changing the way people celebrate love. It's run by Anna Wallis, who creates beautifully bespoke solutions for wedding stationery, photography and styling. By coordinating these 3 design areas she creates weddings that are beautifully harmonised, wonderfully unique and enjoyable to plan from start to finish. By getting to know Anna first as your designer, she will then be a friendly face when photographing your wedding day, making you feel completely at ease.

Here at Georgina Read Creative we believe that a successful invitation is one that leaves a lasting impression, enticing its recipient and unraveling the first chapter of a story that is set to unfold… Based in Dorset, the studio offers the design, craft and production of inspired ephemera and wedding stationery pieces. Inclined to make a statement with elements that are timeless and captivating, we work with clients as visions translate into tangible realities. Created specifically and especially for you…

The Most Awesome at Most Curious: The Photo Booth Guys

Most Curious is just round the corner and we just keep the amazing announcements coming: we're so thrilled to introduce you formally to The Photo Booth Guys, purveyors of fine fun ridiculousness at weddings. They've taken photo booths to a whole new level - we don't mean to brag, but they're rebels and revolutionaries and they've decided to sponsor lil' old us! We're honoured.

It's impossible to look at their photos and not want to party. Their photo booths are so easy to get your head round, ensuring fun for all the (drunken?) family, and their gif booth sends straight to your phone or email so you can connect with them immediately. Who doesn't love a boomerang?! They also do a hashtag printer if you've got a wedding hashtag going (we advise you do, by the way, it's such a good way of collating all your images!). They also offer photo strip designs, backdrops, and incredible props to choose from. But that's just the start of the party - they're so keen to make your day the best that it can be that they'll work with you and your team to make magic happen. We're such huge fans of what they do, and we can't wait for you guys to meet them, and love them as much as we do!

In between the panda heads, neon and confetti, we sat them down to ask them what they're all about, and how we can get on board.

Why did you decide to set up your own business?
So we could stick it to the man! Nah just kidding (only a little bit true...) Apart from the creativity and freedom, we mostly just love to see people happy and enjoy good good times in the booth.

What's been the coolest/best moment of your career so far?
Having our booths as the life of the party...oh and showering people in confetti is pretty sweet too!

Who or what inspires you?
Giant panda heads, flamingos and Macgyver.

What words would you use to describe the trends for 2017?
Fresh, fun, colourful, bold.  We're really excited by the prospects of augmented and mixed reality – enhancing what we feel, see and hear, adding another layer of excitement, individuality and discovery to an wedding experience.  Social storytelling and live-streaming is booming now – giving us new ways to share the content created at weddings to tell different stories, and experience the day from different perspectives over and over again. Also allowing guests who can’t attend in person to be a part of the day in real time!

The Photo Booth Guys are over and out - until tomorrow, that is, when set up for the fair commences. We can't wait for you to see them in the flesh - we guarantee you'll adore them!

Contemporary Hub For A Modern Wedding - SOUTH PLACE HOTEL

Brides want a fairytale wedding set in an ancient crumbling castle or decadent manor house, filled to the brim with abundant bouquets to rival giant funeral tributes right? Yeh? No? If this image of a wedding makes you want to dry heave, and your idea of the perfect venue is more luxury modern, us ladies at Most Curious HQ might just have answered your prayers in the form of East Central London's SOUTH PLACE HOTEL.

Think steel grays, colour pops, herringbone wood flooring and vast windows with iconic views of London. Statement lighting, clean lines, innovative energy saving technologies, stand alone bathtubs with polished chrome and eclectic prints adorning the walls in minimal frames. With open plan space, open terraces featuring heated parasols, and even a warm welcome for man's best friend; South Place Hotel is a luxe home from home.

With their in-house Wedding Planner, Amy Frank, to make sure everything goes according to plan and your pick of six events spaces (all of them if you wish!); South Place Hotel might just be the all-inclusive, fuss-free, contemporary wedding hub for your thoroughly modern day. With a selection of rooms, in their signature style, to suit a variety of higher end budgets; your whole wedding party may even want to move in for the weekend and enjoy the complex's gym, spa and much more.

Angler is the dazzling Michelin-starred restaurant, a favourite of gastronomes and romantics.  Led by Executive Chef, Gary Foulkes, it has seafood at it's heart and the ever-changing menu features only seasonal and carefully sourced produce.

The Angler Terrace is an extension of their Michelin-starred seafood restaurant and is also available to hire.  In Winter the heated terrace is a cosy outside space and in Summer it is transformed into a little piece of Provence.

Their 'Purdey & Steed' rooms are licensed for both wedding and civil ceremonies, can be used for a variety of moments during the day, fitting up to 200 guests! Their other spaces, with various personalities from retro speakeasy to sleek tropicana, can also be hired for more intimate moments, or opened up together for larger receptions. On a very limited basis, their Michelin star restaurant 'Angler', complete with it's glittering mirrored ceiling, can be transformed into a seamless wedding breakfast-cum-party venue.

So if your idea of a fairytale setting is more concrete and chrome than gilt frames and stone, perhaps you should pay the events team a visit at our London fair, next weekend at the Old Truman Brewery. Quick on snapping up TICKETS, if you have yet to purchase yours. Only 4 more sleeps to go, and we are quickly selling out!
